I report here on a photo taken at the base of Mt. Kinabalu just after the earthquake of 5.9 magnitude. A group of donors from the Persatuan Komuniti Bugis Sabah (PKBS), had donated some cash and had their group photo taken with the mountain guide, Rizuan Kauhinin, who became a hero when he rescued a Singaporean boy who was badly injured by carrying him down to safety.
In the photos, a dark hand was seen which was a surprise to the group and they had vouched that it was not doctored. The mysterious hand appeared in photos taken by a handphone and a Nikon camera. Indeed it is hard to explain. Can it be the Spirit of Kinabalu or that of one of the victims who died? Prayers for the departed had been made and hope the Souls find their Peace and Way.
